Kathryn E. Humecki, CPA, CVA
Kathryn is the president of Kathryn Humecki and Associates, Ltd., a licensed CPA, a Certified Valuation Analyst and a summa cum laude Graduate of St. Xavier University.
In 2005 Kathryn started her public accounting firm with just a laptop and a kitchen table and her company is now one of the fastest growing accounting firms in the South Suburban Area.
Kathryn’s passion and primary focus of her company is to help businesses succeed. KHA accomplishes this through business plan development, business advisory services and business owner education.
In 2006 KHA received the Governor's Entrepreneurship Award; and in 2008 she was honored as a “Success Story” by CenterPoint Business Development at
Governors
State
University.
Kathryn is a member of: Illinois CPA Society, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Matteson Area Chamber of Commerce, Homewood Area Chamber of Commerce, Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce, Executive Women’s Golf Association, ADP National Advisory Board, and currently serves as Chairwomen Elect for Professional Women’s Network.
Ashton D. Isenberg
Ashton comes to KHA as a cum laude graduate of
DeVry
University
; with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She is currently enrolled in The Keller Graduate School of Management to complete her Master’s degree in Business Administration, and is in the process of sitting for the CPA exam.
As a staff accountant and office manager, Ashton is responsible for the daily flow of activities in the office, as well as handling her own client base. Ashton has an exceptional aptitude for tax returns and client relations.
Ashton handles all the QuickBooks training sessions and recently earned the QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification from Intuit! She joins both Kathryn and Jan in this accomplishment.
Peg Buckley, CPA, CFE
Peg is a licensed CPA and a veteran of the accounting industry with over 20 years of experience. She earned her Bachelors degree from
Beloit
College
and recently received a Graduate Certificate in Financial Fraud Examination and Management at
St.
Xavier
University
. Peg was also recently awarded the Certified Fraud Examiner credential from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Peg spent twelve years as as a corporate accountant, accounting manager and financial analyst in the financial services industry. For the past 8 years she has been working with a variety of clients as a public accountant.
She is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
Peg is adept at tackling multi-state tax issues and assisting clients in their correspondence with governmental agencies. She enjoys working with clients in a variety of industries.
Janette M. Chapman
Jan comes to KHA with over ten years of experience in the accounting industry. She earned both her Bachelor's degree in accounting as well as her Master's degree in accounting from
Governors
State
University
.
Over the last five years, Jan has been serving clients with a variety of business interests as a public accountant. Her background includes accounting for the automotive industry where she was an Office Manager, handling the day to day operations of the dealership.
She is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and is currently in the process of sitting for the CPA Exam.
Jan’s specialties include Real Estate Tax and accounting, Payroll processing services and Cost Segregation Studies.
Paige Humecki
Paige is KHA's Office assistant and a recent graduate of Crete-Monee High School. She is a student at McCormick School of Engineering at North Western University.
Paige is an active Girl Scout and is in the process of earning her Gold award. visit
